This variety is naturally dwarfed in size with fruit that is much sweeter than other sour cherries.  Deep, dark red fruit is 1" in diameter and excellent for baking and fresh eating.  Extremely hardy, this cherry is self-fruitful, no pollinator is needed.  The ripening date is August.

Dig the hole twice as big around as the container it’s in, but no deeper. Remove the tree and roots from the container. Plant the tree and use loose soil to fill in the area around the tree. Step the tree in to ensure its set well and then water. Water regularly until the tree is established.
